KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Commercial Contracts Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing all commercial aspects of our solar power projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including supply agreements, power purchase agreements, and installation contracts with suppliers, customers, and business partners.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Commercial Strategy: Collaborating with the sales and business development teams to develop effective commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s presence in the market.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis and evaluating the profitability of potential solar energy projects, providing insights to the management team to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Contract Administration: Overseeing the administration and execution of commercial contracts, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial contract management, ideally within the renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, project management principles, and commercial best practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to assess and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in contract management tools and software applications.
- Understanding of UK renewable energy policies, regulations, and incentives would be an advantage. simultaneously.
- Proven track record of bringing in new business and contracts.
